Title: “B-man, and LuLu..m’catz.”

Acrylic and Ink on wood, with oil gloss

1′X3′

This is how I see my two cats. One is extremely overweight and wakes me up at 3 a.m. whispering “I am hungry, lady” with a swipe to the face with his giant paw. Hence the chicken in his paw . . . Popeye’s chicken is his favorite. If he had a choice, but he’ll eat anything. . . except healthy, he won’t eat healthy. Lulu, aka Lady Lulu, she is a street “hoe”, if you will. I took her in rom downtown Crenshaw and 83rd. M’girl is a baller “FO SHO”. IF I give her a demand, she swivels her neck and I hear a switchblade from out of thin air, I’m like, “What was that?” And Lulu’s all like, “That’s to death Bitch, if I don’t get a peting in like two seconds . . . HOOLLAA.” I’m like, “Where did you learn to say, HOOLLAA, anyway. My girl will cut you for real. Those two are my life thought on the real. I never liked cates, but these two are not cats. They are CATZ . . . not to be reckoned with, kind of like a Healthcliff and Garfield.

Hi Sarah I just came back from your show in Canyon. It rocked. You were pretty hilarious. The cats were my favorite part. I really liked the name you had given him. It was really special. Reminds me of a cat I used to have named Stan Lee. He was also huge. I also became your fan on facebook. Hope to see you again someday.
